I found a fix on my PC, bring up Google search page and on it has a Hotmail App but don"t click on it or it will take you to Hotmail inbox with flashing issues, Instead click on the hotmail envolope on bottom taskbar, on this page you will find a box that you can slide to update your Hotmail.
