WebOne dwarf will be a farmer and gets the grower skill. Farming is critical for almost every fortress, and works much better with skilled farmers. Grower skill determines how big a plant stack will a planted seed grow. And the bigger the plant stacks, the more efficient and productive food, booze, cloth etc industries will be.
